Start your self intro by telling your name and the degree you own. If you are a student, then tell "I am pursing Final year(Year you are studying) B.E Computer science and Engineering(Your Degree) in Stanford university(Your University or college name)". Don't cover unwanted things about you like your family details, the place you live etc., because the question asked is about your intro not about your family and place. But be prepared to tell about your family and place also, if the interviewer asks then you need to tell about it.

Include your achievements and other skills in the self intro. You can include the prize you won in PPT, project presentation, Seminars etc., Your skills refers your abilities like hard worker, quick learner etc., Tell about your positive qualities and avoid to tell about your negatives until the interviewer asks about it. But be prepared with the negatives also, try to tell minimum negatives don't be very open type person in this case. Tell about your hobbies which are useful, don't tell hearing songs and watching movies as your hobbies. Don't tell I like singing songs, dancing etc., unless you know it, because some interviewers will ask you to dance in the HR room itself. So, don't put yourself into trouble.

Get prepared to tell the role model. Surf the internet and read the life history and the achievements of your role model in the previous day itself. Don't tell any things that you don't know whether it is true or not. Because the interviewer will have the laptop or Desktop with super internet connection, so they will easily google it to verify whether it is right or wrong. Its better to keep your father as your role model, because you will know more about your father. And even you tell any false things about your father by fault, its difficult for the interviewer to verify it in google.

Don't use inappropriate words or the words that we use locally, keep in mind that you are attending a MNC (Multi-national company) interview. Try to avoid to speak about your religion, race or the things about politics. Because the interviewer may from any other religion or may support any other political parties. Your action may lead to parliament arguments.

Try to speak by looking at the eyes of an interviewer, don't talk too much than necessary. Speak very casually with confident, even though you memorized some things like self intro or the details about the role model, exhibit it casually and don't speak like reading newspaper. Try to spend some time with the self intro by speaking little bit slow, because the interviewer will have some time period to interview one candidate after that he will go to the next person. If you speak little bit slower, there may be chance of getting little questions. Some interviews will end just with self intro, but don't expect this during technical HR round.

As I mentioned above, you should speak only little bit slower, not too slow or too fast. Don't get upset when the HR tell "Leave for the day" because its not the meaning that you are rejected, normally the HR's will say that to ask you wait outside or wait for our email. Check your mail, regularly the call letter will be sent only by email in most of the companies.

All the best for your interview preparation and interview..
