How to face HR Interview
HR Interview
The pre-placement talk is commonly a video presentation given by the company. Generally the presentation will consist of the details about the founders of the organization, milestones of the organization, achievements and awards of the organization and the projects the company handles. And there is a chance for questions from the HR's to the candidates about the previous knowledge about the organization. Its because to check your interest to join their company. So, its recommended to visit the official website of the company in the previous day itself to know those details. The HR will also discuss about the minimum eligibility criteria, interview process and salary package of the job during the pre-placement talk. Listen very carefully, and even try to take notes and read it to remember it. Because there is high chance for the questions from the matters discussed in the pre-placement talk during the General HR interview.

While Waiting Outside HR's Cabin

Next we can discuss about the things you should follow while facing the HR round. All the candidates will be asked to sit outside the HR cabin. During that time, watch what others are doing and listen what the assistants tell you to do. Because during that time, the company assistants will get your resume copy, ID proofs and mark sheets xerox copies from you. And its good to watch others because you can do everything told by the assistants even if you missed to listen any points told by the assistants. Really happened things: During one interview, HR has scold a girl because she not properly arranged her certificates in the order that the assistants told to her. She also not watched how others have arranged it.

Inside HR's Cabin

While entering the HR cabin, enter by asking proper permission like "May I get in sir/madam?". Handshake with HR when entering and leaving the room. Handshake with all the HR's if there are more than one. And don't hesitate to handshake if the HR is a lady. Wish the HR with a smile i.e., Good morning/afternoon/evening sir. Don't sit until the HR tell you to sit. Don't make noise while moving the chair to sit. Look at the eyes of the HR and answer the questions. Don't do anything other than the HR told you to do. Do only the things HR tells you to do. While speaking with the HR, speak with respective words and speak professionally. Don't forget to maintain table manners. Tell Excuse me or sorry if you get cough or sneezing during the Interview. Don't place your hands on the table of the HR unless there is any need for it. These things will make you looks professional and decent man. Listen to the questions carefully and then answer. If you give answer that are not relevant to the question asked then the HR will consider you are not listening properly and are not aware of the Interview. This will reduce the chance of getting a job.

All the best for your interview
