Here are some of the tips you should remember while you choose your dressing style for an interview. 

What to wear for an Interview?

 


     On the morning of the day of an interview, take shower and brush your teeth cleanly. Don't use soaps that gives more smell because it may make discomfort for others and interviewer. Then try to choose your dressings based upon the season and climate of the day. For example(wear light dress like cotton on the summer season and don't wear woolen or anything that doesn't matches because it may make the interviewer think that you not even have common sense). Dress according to today's fashion, avoid wearing traditional dresses and the dress which lost its use even before long years ago. And also avoid wearing dresses that represents your community(In the corporate filed every candidate will be treated equally irrespective of the community and other matters, so you also should be equal to others). You are going to an interview not for an party, so avoid casual wears like T-shirts. 

Dressings

 

      Dress formally and professionally, it is recommended to wear suit with blazzer. Avoid flashy colour shirts and pants. And try to choose plain colour dress rather than striped or checked dress. The navy, brown colours are recommended. Wear belt and don't forget to tuck in your shirt. Wearing tie is also a good thing which will shows up you very professional. For the tie, the traditional tie is recommended. Wear shoes with the colour black or brown, don't wear any party shoes or sports shoes to the interview. Try to wear the shoe with the colour that matches your dress colour. Don't forget to polish your shoes. It's a good thing for the girls to wear shoes rather than wearing and heels. Dress clean and pressed and try to buy the dress that fits you perfectly and makes you comfortable. Because the perfect dressing will makes you comfortable to speak boldly in the interview and to interact with other in the interview. Girls should avoid very tight fit and fashion wears. 

Hairstyle

 

     The next important thing is your hair and appearance of your face. Avoid over hair as well as very low hair. Its good to cut your hair before the interview and don't use any colourings to your hair. It's a bad idea to cut your hair like the film stars with the rocky looks, cut your hair that shows up you very professionally. Trim or even shake your beard on the morning of the day you are going to attend the interview. Girls should avoid free hair for the interview. 

Jewels and Makeups

 

     Its better to avoid unwanted jewels, hand bands etc.,  Men should avoid unwanted rings, earrings and stylish necklaces like skull, sword etc., Don't use over perfume and over makeups. Ensure your nails are short. Girls shouldn't use flashy nail polish. Girls also should avoid dangling earrings. Is there any tattoo in your body, then try to cover it. 

Specs and electronic gadgets

 

    Try to wear spectacles because research says that wearing spectacles will shows up you like very intelligent and increases chance of getting a job in the interview. And don't forget to wear watch, which is very important during the interview process. You will face many situations where you want to keep up your time. 

Don't get ready in hurry

 

     Make ready your all dress materials on the previous night of the interview day itself, because it will make nervous if you get ready for the interview in hurry. And there may be a chance to forget to take any important things  to an interview (like resume, photo, ID proofs etc.,). Don't eat anything and strictly avoid smoking before you enter into the interview cabin.

     And finally, mute your mobile phone and any other electronic gadgets when you enter into the interview cabin.
